physicals for the uninsured??

U.S.A. Arizona

Published

I've almost completed my application for MSC, all that's left is my cpr certification and getting a physical.

and please forgive me if this is a stupid question, but any ideas on where an uninsured person would go for a physical in the phoenix area??

I know the clinic in the Frys grocery store on Dysart (Avondale) does school physicals for $29. I'm not sure if that is just for kids or would be good for an adult physical as well. I believe it is called Little Clinic and they might have them in other Fry's Grocery Stores.

thanks for your response! i am going to call tomorrow to see if they can help me!

i thought there was something through the county, but i cannot find it at the moment. i just recently received information regarding alternative health care options. one was at the asu downtown site. i will just cut and paste the information. it gives mostly information if you have insurance, but you may want to call them. i also found this other clinic and they said they take most insurance, but they have their prices listed on the website and it is only $59 for a physical. i have pasted the two locations below:

the phoenix clinic is located at the downtown phoenix campus at second and taylor streets. clinic hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. monday, wednesday, thursday and friday and 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. tuesday. in addition to bluecross blueshield, the clinics accept aetna, united healthcare, schaller anderson, tricare, medicare, ran/amn and arizona foundation medical plans. for more information, visit [color=#0000a0][color=#0000a0][color=#0000a0][color=#0000a0]nursing.asu.edu/nmhc or call 602-496-0721.
