I graduated on Dec 2014 with my BSN. I was scheduled to take my NCLEX on Feb but there was an error in my name and i wasn't allow to take it. I lost the money that I paid and 2 months fixing the issue. Then I scheduled and took my exam on June. Its been since then that I been struggling to get a job. I had applied to so many of them and I don't get nothing. I'm getting desperate and depressed. I feel like a failure specially when i realize all my classmates are already working and being successful. There is no day that goes by where i don't spent a good amount of time crying. I don't know what to do. I just want to work as a nurse but nobody gives me an opportunity. I been thinking to apply for an Sub-Acute rehab but don't know if it will be beneficial to me or just hurt my career. My ideal job is to work on WIS.

Specializes in Public Health.

Well Sub-acute is certainly better than no job.

Are you getting interviews? If you're not getting interviews, then there may be something with your resume and/or cover letter that isn't allowing you to stand out. Have someone review it for you or go to career services and ask them to provide suggestions. If you're getting interviews but no offers, you may need to brush up on your interview skills. Ask someone for help. Ask your former classmates for suggestions. Don't isolate yourself.
