Hey all,
I just applied to NAU for the Fall semester. I figured I'd start this topic in hopes of meeting others who have applied and we can keep each other company while we wait for letters. Please join in on the conversation if you applied for NAU fall 2013 BSN OR if you're a current student and have pointers for us. Thank you, look forward to meeting some people!
Oh, and don't call. Like I said, I called yesterday and the lady was short with me wasn't very informative. I have a feeling tons of people are calling and it's getting annoying. F we don't hear by Thursday, I give you (and probably myself since we're applying to different campuses) permission to call. Tats fair, right?
I just checked my mail and nothing was there, but it's possible the mail hasn't come yet (I never expect anything enough to pay attention to when it comes) because all the big mailboxes where if you have a package too big, they give you a key and you open the big box and the keys stays were still open. So I'll check in a couple hours. And my parents aren't home yet to check their (idk where the letter will be sent), so it's still *possible* I could've gotten one today, but if you didn't get one, I probably didn't either.
I'm pretty positive if you're accepted you get a whole packet, so a larger envelope (refer to genivere's very first comment on this thread). However, I have a feeling, if its a rejection, it's going to just be one sheet of paper, so a normal envelope... If you're a alternate, idk what you get hahah.
I'm in my third semester at the Flagstaff campus and have been checking this thread since I have a friend applying for the fall. I noticed you all were wondering about what the letter looks like. The acceptance letter comes in a manila envelope with lots of forms to fill out. I'm not sure whether a rejection letter is sent, and if it is, whether it goes out the same day. Yuma, Tucson, and Flag students all find out on the same day. When I was applying, I saw someone from Yuma post that they got in, so I ran to my mailbox and also had a letter waiting. I went into the nursing office in Flag on Thursday and saw lots of empty manila envelopes behind the front desk, so it seems as if they were getting ready to stuff them that day.

Dang, I figured you'd call and they told you... I didn't know you had all this inside info haha. I'd say that's a fairly reliable source. I don't see why he'd make something like that up, or would be misinformed. Too bad he can look at his list and be like "Soah (insert actual name ere lol), if I were you I'd stop stressing" or something along the lines of giving you a clue if its there or not haha. Ugh, I'd do just about anything to know.
