I'll be starting evenings at GCC next week. I'm super excited but from what I've heard the evening and weekend cohorts require a lot of on your own learning.
At orientation upper class mates that were weekend students told the other weekend ppl that they have to do a lot on there own during the week to be prepared because class is only Friday and Saturday with possible Sundays.

Yes, that is pretty much the information I received from advising already. I am pretty motivated, and do well learning on my own so I think I'd be okay. Since I have 5 kids in school I am hoping that having most days "free" from traveling to my own school will help us all transition into me being more unavailable to them. I thought about evenings, but I just don't think I would like it. However, I am still trying to figure out if I want evenings before traditional! AH. I need to turn my application in tomorrow, so I need to be more decisive about this.

Wondering if anyone is in the weekend or evening program and how you like it?
I am pretty sure I want to do the weekend program but I am curious about how others like it and the experience. Any input?!
