Hello does anyone know anything about Lake Havasu Regional Hospital and the pay rate for RN's? Im wondering if it is similar to the pay rates in the Phoenix area? Any information would be truly appreciated thanks a bunch!

Wow how great is that? Im impressed, so glad to hear good reports on the area and that your nursing team is also great and supportive! I just got in touch with HR and will be down for an interview soon..... now Im excited!

cool cant wait 2 meet u!!

Like wise, i have a few questions

Are the nurses required to wear a certain color scrub?

Do they have self scheduling?

Are they big on educating the nursing staff?

Thank you

nurses wear any scrubs, and on my unit a blank schedule is posted for nurses to pencil in there schedule and the unit manager does the best she can to accomodate, and education and training is BIG...I was scheduled for ECG training and ACLS right away and more trainings are offered every month and are ongoing and you can sign up for trainings as long as you work with your unit manager to accomodate schedule on the floor and for overtime

Thanks so much which unit are you working on? Im thinking about PCU on nights for about six months and then sitching to day shift if open?

the step down unit aka IMC has had a low census so if you are willing to work med surg you could prob get in quicker. We had 4 ppl put in resignation on nite shift due to life changes and not necessarily r/t the hospital. So your chances of getting in are great at this point.

If only she would get back to me...........

Have you considered Parker AZ? The Indian Hospital there uses MedSurg and ER travelers for sure. I know someone that is in a fully furnished trailer right on the water making pretty good money. Something like $1k/week after housing expenses.
