Gcc evening & weekend program

Does anyone know if this is the program that is hybrid? The nursing website didn't say exactly but I remember one of them (there's an evening /weekend and a weekend choice) was a hybrid type class.

I think I saw somewhere that it would be classroom two nights a week (6:30-10:00) and one weekend day (either Friday, Saturday or Sunday) for clinical. I'm sure there would be other out of classroom work required, but I don't know if it's considered "hybrid" or not.....

You know what's weird is the maricopa nursing site doesn't say hybrid BUT the GCC website says it is hybrid! And from things I've heard it can be difficult! I'm typically really good at online classes but not so much if I'm teaching myself a brand new concept, that takes more for me than just reading it myself so I don't think I'm going to pick that as an option even though the hours of actual class time would be so great for my schedule!

Wish it was just evening and weekend hours and not hybrid :/ I don't want to do the lecture online by myself and then come to class expected to know it on and out and build upon it which is what I've heard it is like.

I will be starting the hybrid program next semester and I believe the online portion only consists of the NAU class that you would also take if your talking about the CEP program. And lecture/lab are Monday and Wed from 5-10 and you choose what clinical site you want and depending on what you choose in can be Fri, Saturday, or even Sun hope this helps!

I ended up speaking with someone in the gcc program currently and she said the lectures are hybrid, you have to do them online before you come to class and then in class you go over other things as well thus the hybrid. And she is not doing CEP, just the regular nursing program.

Hopefully that is just for the regular nursing program because they gave us a rough draft of what our schedule should look like and it didn't say that...I would hate that! Lol it said lectures are Mon and lab on Wed

Well please keep us updated! I'd love to know if the evening and weekend program is not like that because the hours would fit my schedule so nicely! Congrats on being placed and like I said, will you come back and update pretty please? :)

Yes I will gladly update you...I believe we register sometime next month!
