U.S.A. Arizona

Hello out there!

Is anyone else applying for and /or waiting to see if they are accepted to ASU's Post-Bacc nursing program starting in Jan. of 2013? Anyone from the ASU post-bacc nursing class of 2012 is more than welcome to write and let me know how it is going for them as well! :)

My application is in and I wanted to see if anyone else is out there and want to discuss your GPA, TEAS V scores, anxieties, and the program in general.

Thanks!

Wow, they weren't kidding about this program being competitive. You all have really strong scores! Im applying with a 3.875 gpa, a 96 teas score, and a couple of bad essays. Good luck everyone!

Wow, I am not feeling so confident anymore!!! I have a select GPA of 3.85, I got an 89.4% on my TEAS, and my first degree is in health science. I am so nervous right now!!!!! If I don't get in I don't know what I will do.

Hi. Waiting to find out, too. GPA 4.0, TEAS 87, mediocre essays. Former degrees in Biology and Education.

just an FYI to anyone planning Christmas vacations or anything, the welcome meeting is set for December 12. they said they usually are from 8-2 or so. seems awfully long for a welcome meeting, but maybe I misheard. at any rate, I had called to ask since I was going to be out of town and got that tidbit of information. anyone get any other communication thus far?

Hello, all! I am applying to the 2013 ASU Post-Bacc program, too. I am finishing up my last 2 classes. I have been killing myself the last 18 months trying to get through all the prerequisites while working full time. My GPA is 3.89 and TEAS is 88%. I was felling pretty good until I saw all of your grades/scores. I received a confirmation email that they received my application but am waiting to receive the placement packet we are supposed to be getting to review. I spoke to the office today and they said they would be sending out the placement packets next week.

No. We're not supposed to hear anything excepts whether we've gotten in or not yet.

Hey, Ziggy. When you say placement packets, do you mean letters that say whether we're in or not?

H :)

Will you all post when you get your letters? That way the rest of us (mostly me) can be anxiously waiting at my mailbox :woot:

thanks

Sarah

Wow, I haven't been on in awhile and it is great to see so many new people Everyone on here has superb GPAs and TEAS scores-CONGRATS!! It looks as though this year's batch is competitive, luckily there are 40 spots. I am also anxiously awaiting for "the letter" and am checking the mail non-stop. Will post when it comes in and I hope we all get to meet very soon!!!

did anybody else get the email stating that within the next couple weeks they would be sending out information that we would have to quickly confirm? this was sent a few weeks ago. it had mentioned something about confirmation that the application was in and that they'd be sending something out soon that would need to be reviewed by us and responded to quickly. I've yet to receive anything. did anyone else get anything like this?

ziggy, my post ^^ is referring to what you got I believe. just curious if we are the only ones that got that email. ill be checking the mail this week like clockwork!

I also received that email that was to verify that your address and information was correct, and to acknowledge that they received the application. Still watching the mail :nailbiting:
