Anyone else apply to CEP this week?

hi,

just wanted to see if anyone else has applied or will be applying to the cep program this week?? it would be nice to have others to "wait in anticipation" with. i haven't seen much talk on here about the cep program, is everyone just waiting out the associates for maricopa instead?? i just couldn't imagine having to wait 4-5 semesters to get in.......

i am applying at mcc/nau today at 1pm.

my date stamp is 02/10/2012 08:01:57am so i don't think they base the timing for the cep at all which i am sooo excited about!!! yeahhhh ! :w00t:

i was going to ask the same thing about when we should know we are admitted. also how do we know if they received our acceptance response and how long did it take?

hopefully we will be in the same nur 330 class, we will be able to start putting faces to some of the names on here

After you apply to NAU you will get a link to LOUIE where you can check your status online. It can take a long time to get admitted, especially if you have out-of-state transcripts. I sent in all my transcripts right away, and it took about 8 weeks for me to get admitted.

Wow 8 weeks, I sent in all my transcripts right away as well so I will sit tight and wait :)

Is there a way to tell if the community college received the faxed acceptance?

Thank you for providing us with some sort of time table, it helps when you have waited for so long. :up:

@Momto3Aboys: I can't recall; it seems I had to fax so may different things to both district office and local campus (I'm at GCC). There is an acceptance you need to fax to the district office, but I think that comes after the acceptance to the local campus. You can check the one for the district office by going to your status page; it will say something like Placement accpeted: YES. As for the local campus, I remember just checking for an OK on my fax machine and keeping my fingers crossed that someone actually received it.

Anyway, you may have to wait for another placement run before you get the paperwork from the district office. Take everything I tell you with a grain of salt because my memory is not too clear now that I am in the program.:twocents:

i know i keep looking at the email to make sure it is still there lol. once the shock sets in i may start to get nervous......so what classes will you take in the fall?we have to take nur 330 (intro to nursing) through nau in the fall.
i have twc 361 (writing for health care management) and also soc 390 (social statistics)...fun! ;)

FYI for those accepted to NAU/MCC, I just found out that we won't get our "district acceptance" until almost September because they are still placing for Fall right now. Was anyone else accepted to Mesa CC for either ASU/MCC ????

I mean it won't be until late August September that the "You have not been placed yet" will change. Right now they are still placing for Fall so our Block 1 won't start getting placed until late August, September.

She said the reason they accept us so far in advance is so that we can take NUR 330 before starting Block 1.
