Hi, I am currently an ADN with 8 yrs exp and will grad in May 05 with my BSN. I want to continue on and obtain my MSN. I was wondering if anyone could give me some info about the programs at USA. By the time I get to my MSN, 2 of the 3 programs Im interested in will be completely online, and one only requires 2 days on campus (all other than clinicals done in my area). Is anyone in any of these programs or have been through the programs?? Any info would be appreciated. I emailed the school and it was replied for me to go to the website for info. (Of course the email wasnt sent to an instructor). Thanks in advance.

Sorry, I can't help you other than sending you to USA's website...I'm in their BSN program myself, and I am thinking of enrolling in their Advanced Practitioner Psych Nurse program after I graduate with the BSN...we'll have to see...sorry I can't be of any help, but good luck!!

Tis ok, I have read and re read the website, one of the programs has great info, while the other 2 leave areas of questions. How do you like the BSN program????

OMG I love it!!! I am really learning a ton of stuff!! We're starting our OB rotation next semester and I am NOT looking forward to that...I don't want to deal with the babies! LOL I like the psych patients a LOT, and I am 99.999% sure I want to be a psych nurse when I grow up. I think after I graduate I want to enroll in the Advanced Practitioner Psych program they offer online...we'll be living in New Orleans by then, so it's good that the program is web-based.

Are you going to USA right now? I can't remember if you said in your OP or not!

No, not at USA yet. I am working on my BSN closer to home. Im looking at the Acute Care NP, Nurse Educ, or FNP track. Cant make up my mind. I have been searching all night about all of the different tracks, but the majority of my searches just show me different schools........not what Im looking for.
