Hi everyone!! I currently attend Jeff State Shelby Campus. I am applying for the Spring this fall. I am so excited! I have taken the teas once but did not get the store I wanted so I am currently preparing to take it at least twice before the summer is out! So pumped...anyone else?

not yet. I turned my app in on Oct 7 so I figure since it was the day of the deadline I won't hear as quick as everyone else. But it is driving me crazy not knowing. I go to the Shelby- hoover campus.

You won't have to pay for anything at orientation, they'll just give you a packet with ALL the info needed like what and how to get books(bundles or not) , they usually include the background and immunizations info in the packet but they have changed it up since I was in(but I think that was a good idea bc it gets crazy once the semester starts and the more they can get out of the way the better things go), so I could be wrong but I am pretty sure you won't have to pay anything. You'll also get info on how to order your uniform and I know the "uniforms" have changed to gray scrubs instead of a solid white uniform. You'll get the first months schedule but it is subject to change and probably will (and be prepared to be in school everyday for the first two weeks) On your schedule they'll tell you what to read and I would start asap bc it's a lot and you'll thank yourself later :) I pulled my old notes and old schedule the other day and I think the first test in fundamentals was on safety, vitals, and one other subject but I can't recall right now. But it's really just getting ALL of your paper work done and you'll pay for a drug screen like the first week or two of class I think. And please remember this is if they haven't changed anything lol if anyone has anymore questions I'll be happy to answer, but like I've said before it has been a while since I was in first semester :)

You have the option to pay for your that day or do it before class starts. And that's like $15, I think.

I'm sorry to bother everyone but I have a question. I received 2 letters in the mail on on the top left corner it says "Program Code: 201410 AAS_P162" can someone clarify what this means for me. Thanks

What was in the body of the letter? Was it in regards to spring semester regular registration?

My mom sent me a picture of it. It was not in the body of the letter. She said I received two letters about the same thing but I do not understand why I would get two letters about the same thing.

I got 2 today too. They were both the same thing, just registration info.

what did the letter say? Are they telling about how to register for classes for nursing? I was just wondering bc I didn't receive any mail...thanks in advance for the info :)

No, it had nothing to do with nursing at all. It was just the typical letter telling you when registration was and when classes started. I think we will register our classes at orientation, right?
