Calhoun Community College 2011

U.S.A. Alabama

Hello all. Okay, so I am now starting to psyche myself out. I have taken the TEAS, and am taking my last general ed class next fall. I made a B in BIO 201, and am most likely going to make a B in BIO 202. I am taking BIO 220 in the fall and am pretty confident with my class schedule that I will be able to make an A. I also made a 64 in my TEAS, not good I know, but I am going to retake it because I KNOW I can do better.

So, I guess I am trying to say that is there anyone who has had to take the TEAS and gotten into the RN program at Calhoun? How many points are needed? I know that it all depends on who is applying and the points they have, but I am just curious. I am starting to get really nervous about not being able to get into the program. Any thoughts or advice? Anyone in the same boat?

Oh, and I also have a 3.45 GPA...is that going to change things for me?

Sincerely,

A Nervous Wreck

Hi all! Have letters gone out yet?

I got my letter the other day, it was postmarked the 22nd, hope this helps!

Congrats! The program is challenging, but I love it most days... Good luck everyone! :)

naijausa: I got an 85 on my TEAS and I had an A in BIO 201 and a B in BIO 202 (I was so upset about that! but I gave birth to my son that semester and it took a little bit to balance mommyhood and studying lol) and I'm currently in BIO 220...I don't have all my gen eds yet I'm missing speech and an elective and I still got into the PT evening program...hope this helps and good luck hopefully you made it!
