Hi everyone!

I'm just looking for some advice here. I work in a 20 bed ER, with no Trauma, spinal cord injuries, or pediatrics. However, since we're a small rural hospital we do get exposure to those. I have been a nurse for 14 months, and worked as a tech for 13 months before that. My question is this. Could I travel to an ER since I don't have a lot of trauma/peds/spinal cord experiance? I would hate to take an assignment and be in way over my head with no way out! Thanks for your time and help!:wink2:

There are ER travel assignments all over the country from Level Is to rural remote access. You will fill out a skills checklist for every company you apply to & need to make sure that you are only submitted to those hospitals that match your skill mix. In other words, tell the recruiters that they must tell you about any potential assignment to get your permission first, before you allow yourself to be submitted there.
