NVC does not know whats happening!

Just checked my case with NVC and they(call center) told me that they (NVC) have not sent my papers for CP since my pd is aug 2004 and they are processing june 2002! I asked about the newly released visa bulletin for scheduled A workers, she said that she do not know that as far as she knows, my case is being processed under E3! what the H___! Is this is what's really happening or that agent do not know anything? does someone know what's happening?

Am starting this thread to track cases that has been sent from NVC - CP - interview schedule to know the developments of the processing as a result of the ammended june visa bulletin.

Your experienceand input is very much welcome

I thought you were enjoying your stay while waiting...Enjoy the Filipino dishes...Go out grab something to eat...it will make your worries go away...

dale... NVC too slow now...

am just losing hope on being scheduled on August but am enjoying my stay n fact am going to Bangkok this weekend... it will be expensive to go to southeast asia from the US :chuckle

am not worried at all and definitely will grab a lot of food in Bangkok, yum yum! :rotfl:

Actually there are some very cheap packages to BKK from the US, especially the west coast. You can find them at times for about $600 including plane fare and hotel for one week.

Make sure that you go to Chatuchak shopping. Everything is available there, best market in the world, was there almost every weekend while I was living there.

We got a group package for 3 days and 4 nights for US$ 180.00 each, free everyday buffet breakfast at four season hotel in pratunam :chuckle . I think Chatuchak is the last place we will go as part of the tour. We want to try the exotic dishes, do you have any recommendation? But will try the crispy grasshoppers! yum yum and will bring home all the tom yum soup! and give out the elephant keychains to my friends.

If am still here when the hongkong disneyland opens, will definitely go there. I'll try to visit Bali and compare it to our native boracay! Forgot to tell that just came from Singapore for a US$ 89 overnight trip! I can still taste the spicy crabs and frog legs congee!

If this is not enjoying, I dont know what else to call it... the reason why I want to know the immigration process is because I want everything planned out, even if they tell me that I will be interviewed in august 2006, it's okay! for as long that it is certain and definite! am just not comfortable with whats happening which I do not have control at. :angryfire

Enough said, am sooooo excited to go to Bangkok! :rotfl:

Well nobody is certain and definite in the U.S. immigration world, nobody controls that except the NVC...as Suzanne said things would not clear up overnight, even you know the whole immigration process you cannot do miracles and cannot plan everything...S**t happens you know...

NVC would not bend the process just to speed up the processing for schedule A you know. Everything has to come in line and should be well organized, standard operating procedures would still be followed...US is increasing their security against terrorists so I think there would be more delays than we expect...Yeah may August 2006 maybe your lucky year:rotfl:

One more thing...Get your visa first and then fly to the U.S. first before you start telling to the whole nursing world that it would be expensive to fly from the U.S. to South East Asia... I know you are dying inside to fly to U.S.:chuckle

Goodluck!

Huh??! I do not need to be in the US to know that it will be more expensive to fly from the US to south east asia and I think even if I don't tell the "nursing world" it is a common knowledge that it is more expensive. flying to the US is easy, getting a permanent visa is another story. :chuckle

Missing out on Chatuchak will be a very big mistake on your part. Lived in Thailand for years, and it is still high on everyone's list.

My Yorkies are even from a specialty breeder there and I would not consider getting them anywhere else. When I am ready for another, they will be sent to me from there. You can find absolutely anything there, it takes 9 months to go thru the entire market if you were going every weekend.

That is also where you will find the grasshoppers, etc. :)

2nd...jungle safari..we tried riding an elephant..hahahaha..:rotfl:

trekking..falls...great place!!!

3rd...chatuchak..weekend market..a lot of bargains...a big place to shop...just remember ..if asking for discount ask half the price of the tag price...be wise..

4th...grand palace....a must see for everyone..beautiful place...amazing!!!!

pratunam market ---street market...grat bargains!!!a lot of choices..

try their massage after all these adventures...180 baht for foot massage at SABAIDEE near DMA hotel..

and dont forget to ride the TUKTUK...:balloons:

a must see place for adventure..less pollution...less traffic compared to the Philippines...

Be very careful riding in a TukTuk, many drivers are quite dangerous......

I would not even consider being in one on a main road, my apt had two that they used just to transport us up to the main street and that was fine, but anything else, you are taking your life in your hands..........also way to much bus exhaust for it to be healthy for you. Notice the drivers all have masks on.
