    Hi annie,

Im not yet there in OZ ☺...Im still on APHRA lodgement stage which Im going to do next week. Im just getting information so that it will be easy for me when Im already there. Im planning to process everything on my own since applying with a Consultancy is quite expensive.

Btw when can i apply for ANMAC ASSESSMENT? Can i apply for it pre or post bp?, can i do it offshore?what if i applied for it but then my visa is near expiry?

Im not quite sure about this but the consultancy told us that when your PR is on process, you are allowed to stay in OZ with work rights?

i have 4 yrs and 6months experience in total so im really qualified for PR. The consultancy that visited our town offers PR pathway but its too expensive and one can basically do it on his/her own.

THNX MUCH 4 the reply....or anyone that could answer my query...
post bp and when you receive your reg already i dont know why they told you that you can stay in OZ with work rights while PR is being processed unless maybe you'll be on a student visa first yes you can work 20 hrs per wk but student visa is only valid until the course ends so you might need to enrol to a diff course which may allow you to stay for another yr depending on the course with working rights.

you can lodge PR while your in Phils as long as you already have your AHPRA license.

What about if you got the sponsor (employer) ? What happens to your back ticket? I jsust hope its refundable just like in the US.

I think its not necessary to get a round trip ticket..

Australian immigration, if they are doing their job properly, are not supposed to allow anyone into Australia without a return ticket home, unless they have a visa that allows work and/or no time restrictions!! I find it difficult to understand why this would not be a requirement, I would expect any country I visited without an immigration visa to want me to have a return ticket home.

that is what you call a "waste ticket".. its up to you whether you'll book it ahead of time for a cheaper price, or buy it more expensively while the immigration asks you to inside the airport. you cant leave the country without having it.. but as what ive said, you take the risk.

Yes its necessary but i think its not pre-requisite. Just like in the US i have read something about it.

Anyway you can get round trip ticket, just be sure to ask the ticketing staff if it is refundable, just in case you wont be needing it...

i doubt that.. and i doubt as well that you wont be using it because definitely you'll be going back to phil for exit.. its not that easy to look for jobs here now adays.. the competition is too tight, be it if you have enough experience or not.. a lot of vacancies are posted on websites but the "sponsorship" part is the hardest to find.. good luck to us. just pray and dont give up.

Good on you.. you are preparing as early as now but with your experience, you can consider looking for sponsors first before thinking about applying for PR. i have a friend who applied for PR earlier this year and haven't received her assessment from ANMAC up to this time.

Apply for assessment when you have your registration, while looking for sponsorships as well. I am not sure if you can work while on Bridging Visa. You can actually process everything on your own, without asking help from visa consultancy agencies.
