So my fiance has a really great job offer to fly jets in Bejing, but I am just finishing nursing school with my RN, I do not want to move out there if i cannot work the time we are there. We plan on living there for 2-4 yrs to save up money and move back to the united states. Can I work over there as someone with lil to no experience? Is it impossible to work there if I only speak english? Please help give me any and all info you have. Btw, pay wont matter for my job bc my fiance will be doing well enough, so i just want to be working so i have experience for when I come back. thanks!

My name is May.I am a Chinese nurse from shanghai. I have been working as RN in US from 2 years and I have to move back because my husband's visa will be due next month. Any of you found any luck in Shanghai? contact me if you still in Shanghai or you know any good job opportunities. also if you are planing going. I might be able to tell you a little bit about the city or help you with your medical terms things like that. I will be back to Shanghai this November (11/2015). my email is [email protected] . Good luck to myself. :)

One more thing I know is RN salary in Shanghai is not as good as the pay in US. but it won't be $70a month. It can be as high as $2000 a month (full time) and you can live a life in Shanghai with good qualities. Other information he says probably are true. But the things is, there are some exceptional opportunities if you are lucky. And yes, you have to pass chinese "NCLEX" to be licensed and it is an exam in chinese. Most job will require you have a chinese license. I am not sure about SOS though. It is worth to discover.

I have spent a little time in Beijing. Very few people could speak English, I noticed the state police were going strong and I personally don't care for the country.

Bottom line it is still a communist country

Do you by any chance know what the "NCLEX equivalent" licensing exam is called? Thanks!
