Hi I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with the agency "continental travel nurse"? I recently applied to them and received a call back and was wondering if anyone knows anything about this agency? Good or bad?

Thanks

I'm just not sure how IPAMS/CTN assists with the documents though. Sorry. Best to really contact their landline if you haven't found someone in the new process under them.:)

To those under the Assessment stage,

Did IPAMS ask for your NMC account and password?

Specializes in ER, Med-Surg, OB.

They did since CTN will be paying for the assessment stage. I confirmed this through my Nurse Manager.

I am just starting out with Continental Travel Nurse .. :)

Whoa, Anyone who is over 40 don't bother to apply... to Continental Travel Nurse, after 2 years of applying YES 2 YEARS, I was told that my English training was out of date in fact "old" was what was said... I am from the Caribbean and came to the end of all of the process it was just to pack my bags and head over to the cold land... which is where I did my Diploma by the way in the UK... I was told maybe I should use "Pulse agency" after spending all that money in pounds!! wow , wow really I don't think its the agency fault the crunch comes to the hospitals but the agency should probably not take in anyone whose qualification is over 20 years old.... just saying

Well I am not sure why my comment didn't show so if anyone saw it well

Hi, Im curious if any American nurses have worked for this company?

hello, i've just started the process of applying for a UK nursing registration with continental travel nurse, two weeks ago i sat the ielts exam which was a lot more difficult than i thought and was not well on the exam day. i scored band 7 in all areas except reading which i got a band six, so over all that's a fail. I have been trying to contact the agency after i got my result but havn't heard from them. i was just wondering if there was a second chance for anyone who fails any of the exams, or is it a one strike and your out sort of scenario? i don't mind re sitting ielts, but i wanted to hear back from them before i do so it's not all just a waste of time and money. i'm really set on going to work in the UK and have been wanting this for ages, i just really hope that they havn't decided to drop my application because i failed one of the exams. If anyone has any advice i would appreciate it. Thank you :)

Hi hannahm!

Don't worry, you can go ahead and retake the test.

They don't really mind how many times you sit the test. It's the Nursing and Midwifery Council(NMC) that requires you to get a 7 in all areas for you to start your application with them. Just remember to take the UKVI IELTS that's worth around 14k to ensure that it'll be accepted by the NMC.:)

hi wait Im just checking something out

Hello! I have just started with Continental Travel Nurse agency, as well. Are they for real? I mean, I've visited their website and found so much things about them. ALso, I heard about them. But as of the moment, I have not received any emails from them. My last message was to tell them I am scheduled for CBT EXAM next month because they wanted to know when is the exact date that I'll be sitting for the exam. Is there any other way i could contact them aside from e-mail? :D

Specializes in Cardiology.

Continental Travelnurse is for real. They've been helping me for almost 2 years now. They have phone numbers posted on their website www.continentaltravelnurse.com They're usually pretty good about getting back to emails. You can try their facebook page too.
