Best option to boost my GPA

I've been planning to start grad school for a few years. I'm finally in the position to go but I'm finding that I don't meet the minimum gpa requirements. I'm considering retaking a class or two to boost my gpa. Im wondering should I retake some undergrad science classes or if I should take graduate level classes?

I think undergrad classes at a community college will be easy and cheap plus I will not have to go through the admission process just to take a couple of grad level classes. On the other hand, it would look better to admission committees to see that I have taken grad level classes and have done well. I have a 2.9, trying to get it to a 3.0-3.1 that is the minimum for most programs.

What would you do if you were in my position?

You may want to contact the university you're interested in or your former school and see if they offer some relevant online courses, like pathophysiology, pharm or advanced statistics. It can boost your GPA and make your future job a bit easier. Another way (practiced widely in my former school) was to do "study abroad" course. That was pretty much two-weeks vacation in some exotic faraway place with 5 min presentation or a poster done afterwards. Rather expensive, but it "cost" 6 credits with almost guaranteed A with basically no actual work, lots of fun and some additional cultural awareness which may come very handy one day.
