Hi!

I wanted to see if anyone is currently going to, or has recently applied to the Yuba College nursing program. I just submitted my application and am waiting to hear back :)

Hi everyone, I will be applying in August for spring 2020. Next semester is my last for my pre-requisites. I'm taking pathophysiology and pharmacology together. How hard are those classes? Also what are my chances for getting into the program...I know it's a lottery system after the criteria is met.

Is Yuba the only place to take those prereqs, I'm in Sacramento and was thinking about applying there

Hey Alexj2018! Pharmacology is also offered at American River College. Its called NURS 310. but Pathophysiology is only offered at Yuba- to my knowledge.

I'm so sorry I just checked my email and saw this! Yes I did get in! :) I just finished third semester. It's been crazy to say the least but amazing! Truthfully I don't even know how I ended up being an alternate. I talked to many other students and found out that I had higher grades and TEAS score than most of them. Anyway, three alternates were accepted. I was one of them, thank God! Whats your current status?
