Hello Everyone! Just starting a thread for Yuba College Fall 2023 RN program. Hope to hear from everyone applying and also how many points is everyone applying with!

I did too! I accepted real fast but didn't get a email after accepting the conditional acceptance. Was it like that for you too ? 

I'm accepted like 20 times just to make sure??

Has anyone been on the alternate list before? Does anyone know if people ever make it off the alternate list for Yuba College?

I was on the alternate list for two semesters. I didn't get in. It depends how far you are on the list. I've heard usually at least top 5 have a good chance of getting in!

Anyone hear about mandatory orientation yet? I know it's the 3rd Friday in April but was wondering the details. Nervous my acceptance verification didn't go through LOL.

Hey there! I also have not gotten any new details about the upcoming orientation. I know it said the 3rd Friday in April would be the orientation and TBA would be released closer to the date. I'm so excited to meet some new classmates!!

Alternate but also haven't gotten anything yet. Hope that helps! I also didn't get an acknowledgment of accepting my alternate spot. I accepted it 3 times just to be sure LOL.

Also I was wondering if they still let us use English 1B grade for our points criteria

I'm excited to meet everyone! Hopefully we get an email this week. 

English 1B grade still counts for points criteria. English 1A,B or C count ?

I believe I had 72 points. (I used the merit based tool on the website).

Yes they still use English 1B last years the point cut off was 80 points and this year it looks like it was a lot lower. I believe I had 77 points but I also did the language verification form and the special circumstances form for extra points.
