Your nursing philosophy and goals

I had a presentation recently about the the new graduate programme in my country (NZ) which I will be applying for in August. For my application they highly recommended including my nursing philosophy and short term and long term goals.

What at I view as important in nursing is: person centred care, good communication and therapeutic relationships.

My goals: gain a place in new grad programme, work on a surgical ward and start post grad study.

My long term goals I cant narrow down, so many thing interest me and I don't know yet what exactly my long term goal is.

Im struggling to write this all professionally and unsure how to write a statement of my philosophy.

So what is your philosophy? And your goals?
