Does anyone out there work for St. Elizabeth's in Youngstown? I am thinking of taking a position in the SICU. Any words of advice or thoughts ?

I had my Gero-Rehab clinical there, and thought it was a very nice hospital, although I don't know anything about the SICU.
Good luck with your decision and new job whatever it may be
Thanks. I did interview there once before. I am a little nervous about working for a smaller hospital (I got burned at the last one).

Hi Tina!
I worked at SEHMC for a short time about 8 years ago. It was a nice hospital, good staffing. I know that they've undergone quite a few changes since then,
(nursing school closing - really did have quite an impact on staffing), But compared to other area hospitals, it really is a pretty good facility. Our dialysis unit has recently picked up the contract for St. E's Select Care unit so we're going to be staffing there soon. Hope to see you there sometime.
Good luck in your new job!
Theresa
