5/6/7 year combined MSN?

Nursing Students Pre-Nursing

Published

Hello!

I'm a senior in high school, and I am just wondering if anyone knows of any good 1st degree traditional, 4+1/4+2/5+1/4+3/3+3 BSN/MSN programs (on the east coast, preferably in the northeast)

The only ones I've come across would be Simmons College, Hobart and William Smith (both of which are on the upwards are 60k+ a year and not feasible even with scholarships) and Temple (whose program currently is on hold). I know that there are some programs in some colleges and universities in California and toward the west coast, but I live in New York and it would be a huge hassle to go that far away.

Does anyone know of anything?

thank you so much!

Why does it have to be combined? I'm on the west coast and I can't think of a single program that I've heard of that offers a combined BSN/MSN for first degree seekers. I didn't know there was such an option until reading your post. I would think it would likely be much cheaper and give a greater variety of options, to apply to a BSN program, and then your senior year apply to MSN programs to start after you graduate. (This also leaves the door open to working for a year or two first should you so desire).

There is no such thing as a combined degree for first time college students. However, those who already possesses any bachelor's degree, may apply to an accelerated BSN or MSN/DNP programs for nursing.

I never said it had to be a combined program, I was just wanting to look into different programs to familiarize myself with all of the options I have.
