Hello I'm hoping I can get some advice on my issue with my prereqs. I attended Stephen F. Austin State Univeristy in Texas. I completed 1 year of prereqs. My GPA ended up being a 2.8 with a B in Anatomy and Physiology 1. I made 2 C's yet everything else B's which is why my GPA floats at a 2.8. I took a Summer course at lone star community college where I took Chemistry and made an A. I do not plan on returning to Stephen F. Austin but I don't want to just leave my GPA at a 2.8 even though I will continue at Lone Star for the remainder of my prereqs. Will it affect me? Will Nursing schools look down on only 1 year at a school and having a 2.8? I mean, as of now I'm registered to take a Poltical science class online for SFA to get my GPA up but I'm pretty much done with SFA. Looking to get into a nursing school here in Houston (medical center) or Texas State or SHSU
Stats - Chemistry A
Anatomy 1 B
SFASU GPA 2.8
Lone star 4.0

They probably won't care about changing schools. As for your GPA, try your hardest to get it as high as possible. Pretty sure you need at least a 3.0 to get in to most programs if not all!
Thanks! I will be working hard to get it up! Also, is it bad to take too many online classes? They're so convenient. I accidentally registered for a online class and have since then been in love haha
I loved online classes! Allowed me to get ahead on my work and coast at the end of the semester. I also took a number of hybrid classes where it was mostly online and you meet in the classroom a few times a month.
