Yea, they fired me......

Published

You know you're going to get fired when you walk into the office and the receptionist who is always so friendly keeps her head down and won't even look up from her computer while you wait. Thats always a sign. I showed up early just to get it over with. She comes out all nice friendly and as soon as I go into her office I see another supervisor there. Thats another big sign.

They close the door, of course and then say "I know you've been anxiouse since I called you so". I knew it was coming. I actually smiled when I heard the words and I quickly asked was it because of any incident ect (I was so prepared on that one, I do stuff by the book and was ready to combat anything false). They said no it was the end of my probation ect ect. Once I found out there was nothing going on my record and I could go on to another cna job, I let loose the biggest smile! And in the back of my mind I'm like, its a holiday weekend, I don't have to work!!!! (Easter is big for me :) ) My schedule next week that seemed so impossible before I went into the office just got a whole lot easier. I have to register for fall classes ect ect. I'm smiling big, thanking them for the chance and I actually thanked them for doing it before the holiday weekend. Was that a bad thing to say?

I really don't think they were prepared for me to be so happy about it. They talked about the things I have to do like turn in my badge pick up my check and I'm smiling my huge smile going "of course, no problem" They have to walk me out which is of course really stupid and the firing woman seemed really miffed off that I was in such a good mood. I was looking at her like "you fired me, its your loss, my gain", smiling so huge talking about all the things I could do now and how great it was going to be. I thanked her and told her to have a nice day. I didn't skip to my car, but I sooo wanted to! lol

I'm lucky I've got a bit of money saved up, its going to be okay. I was sooooo worried they would put a lie on my record, they didn't so I can go on with my career! YEA! I've talked to a friend who confessed they were worried given some of the things I mentioned were going on there so its good I got out when I did.

Sorry for the rant!

THANK YOU ALL OF YOU FAB PEOPLE ON THIS BOARD!!!:yeah::yeah::yeah::heartbeat
