Yay! A&P 1 and 2 Done!!

I just had to create a thread to express my joy that I'm done with A&P 1 and 2!. A&P 1 was very good to me. I got an A in it and felt confident going into A&P 2, but from day one I realized it wasn't going to be easy. I took my 150 question final exam today and checked that I passed the exam! Wooh, glad these courses are behind me.

Congrats! I know I was never so glad to finally get out of those classes! I finished mine in April. I felt a huge weight lifted off my shoulders. I felt so accomplished, as I know you do also!:)

Lucky you all. i am just starting anatomy this summer and then physio and micro this fall.... once this fall is over its NS-applying time!

You must study all the time when it comes to A&P. A&P 2 was very difficult for me for some reason. I had to study constantly just to say ahead. I also took it along with Chemistry. I will be applying to NS in June. Good luck to you.

Lucky!!! I can't wait to post that I am done with both of them! I am taking A&P 2 right now in a Summer 12 week course! My lecture teacher is amazing, so great, but my lab teach is awful! I mean shes a very smart lady, but just has no idea about the curriculum. So very frustrating :( Hopefully, I will pull an A somehow. Congrats to you--for being done, send some prayers and luck my way!

Hmmm Yeah I plan to study my butt off to get all A's in my pre-reqs. I have taken advanced anatomy before (which doesnt count as pre-req for some reason) so I am not worried about anatomy, and physio is easy. i am worried about micro. I heard alot of people fail it. has anyone here taken micro? is it hard?

Lucky you! I will be taking both A&P I and II over the summer. We have 2 summer sessions, so I will be taking one per. At my school, A&P is a co-req. I am already accepted into my program, starting in the fall. I just want to get these darn classes out of the way so I can focus on my nursing classes.

I will be retaking Micro over the summer. I was taking Sociology, Psychology, A&P I, and Micro last semester and I was so focused on A&P I because if I failed that I wouldn't be able to take A&P II. My Micro lab teacher was horrible and my lecture teacher wasn't any better. He is the same and only teacher that will be teaching it over the summer, but was told by students that he is easier over the summer. However, when I went to www.ratemyprofessor.com, I found that my lab teacher is horrible. Many students posted to avoid this teacher especially over the summer. :eek: My class doesn't start until 2 weeks and I'm starting to study from now! This is my last prereq and I'm done, so this must be no less than a B.

Trust I will be praying. I sent out so many prayers last semester and will continue to do so all the way till I graduate from NS school. I'm going into an Accelerated BSN program so the prayers won't be stopping any time. :)

I agree, I am going to have to study my butt off too for A's--summer sure makes it a little more difficult! Just today my friends were like lets go to the pool and layout tommarpw... and I was totally thinking: Library all day with a big cup of coffee and all my A&P 2 Lecture and Lab materials:D. Haha how different I look at things now that I am trying really hard to get A's, and get into Nursing. I can't wait til I am done with A&P 2, and Nutrition this summer!!

Thats wonderful!! Congrats an Accelerated BSN, thats a hard one to get into! Great for you! And I always appreciate prayers--I'm going to need them to get into my program :)

I am right there with you! I took my final for A&P 2 on Friday & have never been so happy to be done with a class! He did post grades and I eneded up with a B. I got an A in A&P 1 but no such luck in thsi one. That's OK, I'll take the B. Good luck to those of you that are in A&P right now!
