Just here to ask an opinion. So I already got accepted to Emory's Master of Nursing program but I'm still somewhat considering Yale. Assuming I get into Yale (will find out in december) I don't know how to decide. Pros of Emory are that it's in my hometown where my family is, it's bigger cohort size which I like, it's the number one masters program in the country. Cons are that I don't know how much aid I'll get and it's very expensive, also I would have to apply to an MSN/DNP program after working as an RN so more applications. Pros of Yale are that it's a direct to NP Program with the option to work as an RN in the middle (which I would definitely do since I don't wan to be an NP with no RN experience), scholarship options are higher (they have one scholarship that covers full tuition and gives a stipend) but cons are it would require me moving up north and I am a terrible driver and can't handle snow, rent is very expensive there, and I would have to make my boyfriend uproot his life so he could move with me. Please give opinions.
