I was wondering if anyone here is/was a nursing student in YVCC. I decided to apply to YVCC for Fall 2010 to nursing program.

I am going to take ALTA Language Testing and Certification Exam to get those extra 10 points, have NAC license and very good GPA. I think my odds of getting into nursing program there are high. But still I am wondering what is the the average number points people have and are admitted to the nursing program there?

Thank you!

Do not go to YVCC. They fail half of everyone they let into the program. Cheating is rampant in the program and the only ones who make it through are those who have friends or family that pass notes and test answers down to them. They no longer let you review the tests because so many students cheated. The program weeds out those that they don't like and allows those they do to repeat as much as they like. The rules do not apply to everyone at YVCC equally and students spend most of their time there making sure that the teachers who enjoy and use their power to excess do not get mad at them. It is not a learning environment but a place of fear. Go to WSU instead they fail 5% instead of 50% and you get a BSN which will soon be required.

Cheating scandal exposed at YVCC Nursing School! Accreditation in jeopardy. A large number of YVCC Nursing students cheat in order to achieve the 100% pass rate of NCLEX requirement imposed by YVCC instructors.

Anybody accepted to the 2015 Spring quarter at YVCC?

Help I am currently in the YVCC nursing program in 5th quarter. I failed my theory class and I really need someone to pass me some lecture notes or test bank questions so I can pass this time. I have 5 kids I am trying to support with my husband. I was told by one of the teachers that she gives extra credit to women in the class who are single mothers because they have a harder time. Maybe if I divorced my husband I would pass. I was the only woman to fail clinical along with all the men in my clinical class. Does anyone have a copy of the tegrity that I can listen to ahead of time? Or just a syllabus that I can use to prepare so I don't fail again. I will do anything to pass, my families lively hood depends on it and I am desperate.

I was wondering what was the average score to get in the program. Thanks!

How hard is the alta test
