Well it’s nice that at least we can communicate with others going through this same process ☺️

Is this your first year applying? And yes I agree with you:)

Yes it is, from what you mentioned about having more points this year am I right to guess you applied last year as well as this year or did you just wait until this year when you would have more points?

I applied last year and got wait listed, so yes it’s my second time. However, when I applied last year I wasn’t fully done with my prerequisites so my points were low.

Well your points are really good for this time around! Oh and my score is without tiebreakers as well, those only count if you’re tied with someone for points and at the cutoff anyways I thought? So I don’t think you’re supposed to include tiebreaker points when your calculating how many  points you have anyways right?

Correct, you’re not supposed to calculate tiebreakers “they do that”. I was told they don’t ever even use tiebreakers.
and thanks your points are good too:)

I wonder if the number of students accepted this year changes or if it’s the same every year do you know?

I think the number of acceptance is the same every year, isn’t it 70? I only went to wwcc for one term, but I did notice that they closed the application deadline sooner than what it was expected. Maybe a lot of applicants? IDK.

Yeah I didn’t know what the number has ever been in the first place so thanks because that’s what I was wondering ? as far as then changing the due date for apps I noticed that too and couldn’t began to guess why, just glad I noticed it had changed and didn’t miss it. Ugh, is it me or is April just dragging though? ?

No it’s not just you?? April is dragging by real slow. Hopefully they will send out letter sooner since they closed application deadline sooner.

Do you know of anyone that is or has graduated from the nursing program? I don’t, and would like to know helpful tips just in case I get in.

I do actually, a lot of the nurses I work with have graduated from the program at wwcc. That’s a good point about the letters and hopefully that’s the way it works out (them getting mailed sooner due the the due date changing) LOL

Hopefully we all hear back next week?
