WSU BSN Spring 2022

Published

Hello!

Starting a thread for WSU BSN Spring 2022. Submitted my application for Spokane campus by the July 10th due date and now just waiting for interview decisions...

How is everyone doing? :)

Has anyone else heard back yet?  To those who have not heard back yet, do not despair.  It’s a long waiting game, and it’s just a matter of time before you’ll have your chance.  The door will open to those who preserver so please keep trying.  During the time you will spend waiting you will seek, reflect upon, and grow.  When that time finally comes before you, you’ll be glimmering with life that you will shine upon your patients who will depend on you to get through their darkest hours…

how were the interviews?!

Hello ?

The interview was a bit nerve-wracking for me at first, but once I settled in it went just fine! This three week wait is going to drag on, I am so excited to hear. How was yours??

I don't feel very confident. But I'm hoping it went okay!

I feel like I was prepared but then in the moment became really anxious and I don't know how to feel about it. I was not prepared for the questions I was asked.

The questions were super tricky. I don't think I could have prepared for some of them, because I felt like they were very specific to nursing. Crossing fingers for all of us!

im totally with you guys

I also feel like the questions were not what I was expecting. At least 2 of them I was not prepared for. I’m not sure how I did. Do you guys think we will hear back before November 19th about the decisions?

I hope we hear back soon! The wait is killing me. It's so hard to manage that balance between thinking positive and protecting myself from high hopes.

What are some of the things are you guys doing in case of acceptance to the program? Looking for housing? Filling out FAFA? Vaccination and records? General application to the university?

I already did my FAFSA and my general app to the University, but I was accepted to an ADN program in the town where I live so I'm putting off housing. I would like to visit Spokane for sure.

Good to know.  I was told to complete the gen app if I got accepted, so I had this on hold.  I am also on the fence about getting my immunization completed as appointment availability can be unpredictable with holidays quickly approaching...

What ADN program did you get accepted into if you don't mind me asking?
