WSSU FNP Fall 2016, Accepted!!!

Hello everyone,

i would like to start a new thread with the WSSU FNP program nurses starting this fall 2016!!! I received an email yesterday with my acceptance letter yayyy!!!

I live in Durham, NC and will be commuting back and forth! Btw, I will be full time:)!!

Good luck to you as well. I would just like to know why because I graduated from there with honors, inducted into the national honor society etc. Smh. Just very disheartening.

Did you receive an email with that information or a letter in the mail? My banner changed today to "decision made" but I have not received an email or letter by mail.

I was told over the phone that my application was unfavorable and that a letter would be sent out on Tuesday morning. I still haven't received anything.

That's so crazy....they wouldn't tell me anything! I was told I would hear something by this past Monday, and nothing yet....thanks for the response.

I was accepted into the BSN-DNP program on May 12th. Will anyone else be in that program this fall?

Nurseypoo, did they email you a decision or snail mail it to you? And how long after your "decision made" in banner did you get notified?

Hi, Caramelsunflower! I applied to that program, still waiting on notification. I called and they told me a decision was made and that emails are sent in batches. My last name is at the end of the alphabet so I'm still waiting. Did you get an email?

At first I was told that I would be getting an email. When I never did I just called up there and was told that my application decision was unfavorable and that a letter would be sent out to me the next day in snail mail. It's been a week and I have not received anything. Good luck to you!!

I received my notification this Thursday via email with an acceptance letter. My last name starts with a H. Hope that helps.
