I worked for 2 years for a non-profit organization. I occasionally have to give injections to clients. I ran out of sharps containers and notified my employers on numerous occasions that i was out. I also called the county to come and they did not show up. This situation was put on the back burner. I had to do something with the sharps so i lined a box with 2 red biohazard bags and place the box out of reach for disposal and monitored so that it wouldnt overflow. This went on and on despite my request. recently i was moving from one office to the next. while i had not had a chance to move everything out of my office before then end of my shift, my boss went into my office and somehow came an alligation that she stuck herself with a needle in this box. I was terminated over 1 week later not even aware that i was being investigatied until 1 shift before my termination. is there any responsibility with my employer here for failure to supply me with the requested containers?

This is legal and employment advice that we can't answer. I would take this to an employment attorney.
