Hi everyone!
Has anyone out there either attended Wright State University or Edison Community College nursing school? I am trying to decide between the 2 of them & want to know how good they are, how you felt about them, how well they prepared you for nursing, & anything else you have to say. Thanks very much!

Renae,
I am a current Wright State student and I will be graduating in November. I really like the program. I think with any school you will always have good and bad to say about it. For me, the BSN program was right for me. I plan to get my Nurse Practitioner's license at some point and I didn't want to have to get my ADN, then BSN and then MSN. It all depends on what you are looking for.
If you have any questions about Wright State feel free to ask. HTH.

bump i plan on attending this school
Ms. Nurse- Are you planning to attend Wright State or Edison? If you have any questions about the Wright State program, I'd be more than happy to help.
Yes. I am taking pre reqs at my college to transfer to WRight state.
I was wondering what are the chances of me getting in with a decent gpa? and who did you take for stats and organic chem?
For organic chem I had Seybold and for stats I had Brackenridge. I took stats online- which I DO NOT recommend. It was my only option at that time.
As far as GPA, I think the cut off for the most recent class was either a 3.2 or 3.3. When I was accepted in 2007 it was a 3.1, so it is getting more competitive.
Good luck! When are you applying?
I am going to apply next year in the Spring or Fall. I'm trying to get all of my pre reqs done as soon as possible

You're compairing apples and oranges. That can depend upon how much money you have in your pocket. If you can afford it go for BSN as compared to ASN.

I am working on my pre reqs at Wright State as we speak to apply for the June 30th deadline. I cant wait until the year is over to achieve admittance in the school of nursing.
Good luck and make sure you keep your grades up :wink2:
Thank you Christie, I appreciate it. So far, so good.
