WPU or UMDNJ?

Published

I am a applying to the accelerated programs of William Paterson and UMDNJ. Is anyone out there going to WPU and if so how is the acclereated program? Can you share your experience over there. Which one would be the better choice, WPU or UMDNJ? I'd really appreciate it, thanks

I don't know much about the program and WPU but I did complete the program at UMDNJ. When I went there the program was still pretty new and I was actually in the group that did the first summer semester. I think everyone does class through the year now, it used to be just fall and spring before I went there. Anyway, I think their program is pretty good. Like most schools, there is always room for improvement. Most of the teachers are really good, and while they may seem tough and unfriendly at first, you will see that they are very willing to help and work with students who make an effort. The pharmacology teacher I had was horrible, but he was fired the semester after mine and I heard the new teacher is tough but knows her stuff. Its a very fast paced program too, so procrastination is not an option. It's very easy to fall behind in any accelerated program because you initially feel like you have a lot of time for an assignment, but before you know it you have a project in every class and they're all due at the same time. I can tell you more, but I don't want too make this too long. Feel free to PM me if you have any specific questions!

Wow, well thanks for sharing that with me. I went to the info session and they said you only have 2 week break in between semesters. They said its really not a break and that they still give u assignments that are due the next semester you return. What type of assignments do they give?
