Hey there. I also graduated in August and passed the boards in October but I have not even had any interviews since then! I have been trying and trying and been applying online like crazy! No one ever calls me back and i keep getting the same old lines eveytime i call. If you dont mind, can you help out a fellow new grad such as myself? I mean what hospitals are you referring too? How are you gettin call backs? I almost feel like giving up and started doubting the field i choose because for me the nursing market is HORRIBLE! Everytime I say Iam a new grad, I get turned down immediately! So please can you PM the hospital names or HR contact info? I am willing to do anything to get a job. you can email [email protected]. hi wherescara, I like the program and i do recommend it. You start in the summer, then fall, spring, and summer again. The summer classes are extremely long but i feel that you get a break during the fall and spring semester cuz its a regular 3.5 months long classes. I like the professors and the chair is always there for you. They prepare u real well for NCLEX adn make u take so many online tests. If u dont take them, then your grade doesnt get posted. Iam in now in my junior level and if i do well this semester i can continue on to the summer and hopefully finish. However, the exmas are very difficult. everythign is multiple choice but you really have to study hard especially if your in the accelerated program. clinicals are great also, they have many affiliations with many different hospitals so you get to experience different hospital settings which i think is great. if you have any other questions PM and i hope this helped! good luck

hi!! can u tell me more about the program at wpu? i got accepted into the accelerated program. do u know anything about that? Iam sure its hard but i want to know what u think of the professors and how intense the work is? id appreciate ur comments, thanks.

Hey, thanks for the advice! I actutally did find some one that graduated from wpu and she did recommend it and said its sooo do able. I think i know which school to choose now.... thanks again for the reply! did u graduate from NJCU? if u did are currently working as a nurse?

Hey i need some advice? I just got accepted to UMDNJ and to william paterson's accelerated nursign program? I've heard so many ppl say umdnj is unorganized but according to ur comments, do u think iam better off goin to wpu or to any other school besides umdnj? I mean maybe by now it changed but if u were to go back to nursing school when u first started, would u choose umdnj or another college?

Ok i see, but if u dont mind me asking, why are u all having trouble finding jobs? i thought nurses were needed everywhere? the school cant place u somewhere? Or is it cuz of the economy? I hope u are employed somewhere....

Iam glad to hear that u liked it cuz im at BCC now doin my pre req's and ppl dont say good things about WPU's program? I dunno why, i had a good experience there and like the campus very much. Did u really finish the program within 15 months and passed all your classes to graduate in time? Are the professors nice and helpful? Do they at least understand what your goin through? I really appreciate your comments and feelings, it really helps a lot cuz i dont no anyone who is in the nursing program there, esp the accelerated one. Also, i tried replying back to ur PM but there was no reply button?

Thats awesome!! Are u currently employed now as nurse? I mean i also got accepted to UMDNJ so now i have to reconsider my decision? I really wanna go to wpu, i graduated from there and want to go back. However, i know umdnj is a good school also, but i hear its verrryyy intense. I mean they told me that they dont give anyone a break in between semesters and i think its healthy for us have a break even thought its an accelerated program, think we need breaks in between. I just got accepted to WPU's accelerated program. I graduated from there with a BA in exersice science and like the school. Does anyone know how their accelerated nursing program is?

Wow, well thanks for sharing that with me. I went to the info session and they said you only have 2 week break in between semesters. They said its really not a break and that they still give u assignments that are due the next semester you return. What type of assignments do they give?

I am a applying to the accelerated programs of William Paterson and UMDNJ. Is anyone out there going to WPU and if so how is the acclereated program? Can you share your experience over there. Which one would be the better choice, WPU or UMDNJ? I'd really appreciate it, thanks
