I LOVE motorycles. But I also know many people see them as death traps. Including my mother. My father owns a motorcycle. Heck he's been riding since before I was born. But that doesn't change her view of them lol

Either way, I was wondering since a lot of you work in hospitals, if it has changed your view of motorcycles. In a more negative way.

Which is funny because I was going down the road once and I saw this male nurse on a sports bike, and not only was he not wearing boots, but he was wearing crocs! Those things will fly right off if you crash. And how did I know he was a nurse? He was wearing scrubs! lol at least he had a helmet.

I owned a GSX-R750 before I got my license. It was stolen one night from my friend's house. The ONLY reason I haven't bought another one is because I was going to school and couldn't afford one. As soon as I get a job (just graduated and got my license) I will be at a dealership to get another one. In California, there's no better feeling than splitting lanes while everyone else is stuck in traffic.

I love motorcycles and have been riding for about 10 years. I have always ridden with a helmet but I was not always so concerned with the rest of my attire...that is until my first real motorcycle trauma came in the ER doors. I was actually so shocked, I didn't get on my bike for a month. Now, in addition to the helmet I wear a ballistic jacket or leather. Regardless of the dangers, I will have a bike as long as I can ride it!
