When you stop caring then you need to go back to computer work. That is not meant to be sarcastic. You will be busy wherever you work but maybe you aren't in the right facility for you..... and the person who told you that you care too much should find another career choice. Often what we do in health care is thankless. What IS important is that you can go home at the end of the day knowing that you cared for people to the best of your ability and knowing that fact should help you rest easier at night.
