Worst Surgeries to deal with?

Just wondering what kind of surgeries that you think are the worst...I would imagine amputations but I dont know nursing student looking to go into the OR

The worst surgeries... ones that i have never circulated/I have a scrub who doesn't know anymore than i do and to top it off working with surgeons who are mean and have no tolerance or patience for the inexperienced. This puts me in panic mode.

But surgery in general i would have to say stinky, infected pus filled, gangrenous, messy cases. I had this bowel case that stunk so bad, Wintergreen stuff didn't even help, seriously wanted to gag. We all had to endure the awful smell for a couple of hours. Like someone mentioned i don't care for ICU patients with tons of lines, or who have one foot in the grave, especially if they weigh over 300 lbs. Patients seem to be getting bigger and bigger these days and they scare me because they have alot of health problems. My stress level is high when i have an ICU patient that is really sick regardless of what the procedure is.
