Is there a cap. on the number of shifts you can be scheduled in a row?

I am scheduled to work 6 night shifts in a row, does this seem right?

What is the record number of shifts you have worked in a row?

I've worked either 8 or 9 in a row...all 12hr shifts. About half of it was overtime. We were really busy and I'm one to always sign up to work extra. I don't mind it, especially when you get into a groove. Once i'm past the 4th day, it gets easier. It's always good for my bank account!!! But then when it's over, I feel completely wiped out!!
