The only way to find out is to apply to the NMC and they evalute your transcripts, Generally your training needs to be 3 years but it all depends on your hours. Would also add if you are looking for a work permit then it is very hard to find hospitals at the moment as immigration rules have changed. Another thing currently the NHS is going through a lot of problems and nurses are being laid off and also newly qualified nurses are having problems finding work

can i ask ,

1. does it mean that it is saturated of nurses in UK?

2. the status of nurses in UK/ other countries is low or not?

3. will UK hospitals employ HK nurses/ chinese nurses?

thankyou^^

A lot has happened in the UK over the last several months. A lot of hospitals are suffering financial difficulties and have been laying staff off including medics and nurses or not replaces when nurses leave. Recent changes to immigration means that hospitals will struggle helping nurses get work permits as EU directs currently indicate unless exceptional experience you have to employ first from country of origin then within the EU before the rest of the world. There have been cases recently of Phillipine nurses not having their work permits renewed due to these changes and after making a life for them over here now have to leave
