Hi all,
I just accepted an offer to work at Seattle Children's (Feb 2024 new grad residency). I don't know anyone who works there, and would love to hear a current or former employees thoughts about everything- hospital in general, staffing, orientation/residency info, culture, perks, drawbacks, anything you can think of! I appreciate any input, thank you!

I do believe that they are! They're like lil cheat reference / clinical intervention sheets! Here is the link https://www.seattlechildrens.org/healthcare-professionals/community-providers/pathways/ . I don't know if that is all of them, but I used them while in clinical there!

Gotcha! That's totally different than what I was thinking LOL. Here in CA a lot of the major hospitals have a "clinical ladder,” which is basically when you're considered an "RN I" during your first year, then you become an "RN II" in your 2nd year, etc. But that's super helpful to know & use as a resource!

Ohhhh I see, I'm not sure about that! I'm sure there is something like that. I know I'm hired on as a RN 2 but there is RN 3 for UW but I don't know the logistics between the two yet.
