Hey guys,
I'm currently in Georgetown NAP and as I do the challenging classes I like to keep the end goal in mind - which for me would be to live and work in the caribbean. Does anyone have any experience from certain islands or areas that could give me some guidance as I start my search?
Thanks

Oh hell yeah, I worked that area for shorts stints every year for 12 years. Only problem is it wasn't a paying job. Haiti and Guyana. Not exactly Club Med but the weather was great Ed

There are jobs at St. Thomas, US Virgin Islands, which is a US Territory. There are several threads in the Travel Nursing Forum. Just search "St Thomas".
St Thomas is just plain beautiful. At the harbor, there is a tram-way that will take you to a cafe-bar that overlooks the harbor. That is one of my favorite views on earth.

good night, tell me what agency did you use? i'm looking to travel and also which hospitals did you work in guyana?
The Hospital in Georgetown, Guyana is St. Joseph's Mercy Hospital on Parade Street. The only caveat is you don't get paid. RedEd
Good evening,
Thanks for responding so quickly I really appreciate it. I was born in Guyana and I'm interested in going back but I would have loved it if I could have done it as a traveler. What did you mean by you did not get paid? You can email me at [email protected] I would love to know what your experience was like working in a hospital in guyana. I hear the health care system is really bad.
