My son is only 13 months, so he tends to think I'm talking to him when I'm going through flashcards out loud. His favorite words now are "thank you," "mommy," and "hi," so I'll say something like "cuboidal" and he will say "thank you." I wonder what he'll pick up from my physiology flashcards I'll inevitably be making next semester.
My kids are 4 and 2 they both do this. My oldest loves to study with me, and she knows a lot of the organs and other body parts. My youngest just loves my books and my company but he will "parrot" back to me what body part was said whether it was his sister or myself who said it. Now I am in Microbiology and my oldest is also learning some bacteria. :)

I test myself on flash cards outloud... I also have a two almost three year old that likes to repeat everything I say. My toddler is hard to understand at times but she can perfectly repeat some of the terms I use while studying. Do any of you parents have children that repeat some of the terminology that you use? It's cute at times, depending on the words they learn...
