Women's Services

Hi,

I am a nursing student and very interested in working in women's services or neonatal when I graduate. I am involved in the club at my school regarding babies, but want to know if there is anything else that you guys recommend I can do during school to build my resume. Please let me know if there is anything that you have experienced on an impressive resume for women's services/babies. Thank you so much!

I’m a nursing student going into my last term and my rotation is at “women’s services” at a local hospital. What exactly is a women’s services unit? Is it L/D? M/B? Something else?

Women's services is most likely L&D/postpartum/possibly post-op gyn surgeries.

OP, I would recommend taking AWHONN's Introduction to Fetal Monitoring class, and take some lactation education courses.

Sorry, just realized the OP is 9 months old.
