Withdrawing from BIO 1200

Published

So far I'm am failing my BIO 1200 class. I currently hold a D. Do you think it would be best to withdrawal before the deadline or count inure to push through? I really want atleast a B in this class but I don't think that's possible.

You think a C would be fine? It think its really impossible to get a B at this point. Dropping the class would push me back a semester.

drop it now and retake next semester

Drop immediately. In most situations a "W" won't hurt you. A "C" will.

You think 1 "C" will hurt my GPA that bad?

It depends on how your program is set up, for mine the school only looks at your anatomy phys and micro GPA. Your total is not taken into effect. Seeing as this is a prerequisite to the nursing prerequisites you may be fine, how ever if you plan on getting a master's or doctorate you will want as high of a gpa as possible. Best of luck to you

My program the mandatory classes to apply are A&P1 and STATS. A "B" needed in A&P1

OK so this class is not mandatory that you get an A. If I were you I would try my best to ace everything from here on out. Do the math and calculate how much you need more to pass and get a good idea of how much effort you need to put in. If it looks doable try to pass this class. Just know the goal is to get A's!
