Hello beautiful people!
Last year during my senior year I had an accident, got to get surgery, was hospitalized for almost 2 weeks then I had to recover for almost a month. In order to save my GPA and due to obvious reasons I decided to withdraw from the program.
The situation is that I had such a bad/hard time at this school (in Atlanta, GA) that I was trying to do everything I could to see if other schools/programs accept me with all the credits and hard work I had put into this journey.
I found two options: both won't make me an RN but an LPN (which at this point is fine with me). One is a school in North GA that said they will accept me if I take a comprehensive exam; if I pass I will be able to enter the last semester of their program (they even called the Dean to conform and later email me saying how unhelpful she was though out the whole phonecall). The other is through the Florida BON; After a lot of paperwork, they gave me the chance to do the LPN-NCLEX.
But the problem is the Dean of my previous school. For the Florida BON, it is required that she signs a form that says I did complete the hours and courses required for their LPN-NCLEX. Her excuses before ignoring me, are that she is simply not obligated to sign anything; later she said that she does not feel I am qualified for that NCLEX (after I successfully made it to the senior year in RN school).
I do not want to give up on this dream, and all the time I had invested in it. I do not want to go back to that program, I know for sure that RN school is hard but their corruption and lack of professionalism (we can talk about it in another post), made me question if this dream is worth following.
I would appreciate any information about programs that would accept the classes I already took, lawyers? Or, if anybody had/has the same experience.
Much love ❤️

In the best interests of you(and the facts you supplied), asking for readmission to the program is the best way to go....Did you fail/withdraw from a previous course? Your school is just preventing your from taking the LPN NCLEX which will tarnish their reputation.
I gotta say (the FBON and Education department) are very different animals ..they allow crappy programs to exist. The happenings in FL's nursing education never cease to amaze me.
