:caduceus: i just wanted to give you guys an update
i am moving to washington but here are the steps
1. get my cna in california
2. work for 6 months in cali to save cash and get experience
3. take some online classes
4. move
hopefully i can start nursing school at tcc when im done with all the preqs
any ways thanks for all the info and help,

Hey, good luck in the future nursing school endeavor! I graduate in 3 weeks! Just wanted to comment to you, remember you have one full year of living in WA before you get residency status on tuition and out of state is quite high so you'll want to keep that in your game plan /planning. Also, nursing schools in WA are highly competetive and getting more so every day to get entrance (example in Spokane there I'm told are over 500 applicants for 50 openings each quarter - basically only the 4.0 are getting in and not even all of them. There are no wait lists anymore). So keep your gpa up as high as possible for your best chance at getting in. Also contact the schools for pre reqs and transferability if you are taking them in CA.
