This is my 1st winter as a nurse. I'm living in the Midwest and the temperatures are freezing and the streets and sidewalks are covered in snow and ice. For those of you dealing with the same snowy conditions what winter footwear do you wear with your scrubsI have uggs but they look grumpy and wrinkle the bottom of my scrub pants.
Thanks!

1. Don't wear UGGS at work. There is literally no way to clean those. I hope you're saying you wear them for your commute and change into something else before providing patient care.
2. My current snow boots are BOGS. I have a knee high set. They're the ugliest pair of boots I've ever seen in my life, but they're also by far the warmest, and there's no tying/untying. It's easy for me to tuck my scrubs into them when I'm commuting/walking in the parking lot so they don't drag on the ground (I'm super short).
No I only were them from the parking lot to the break room and change into my work shoes. Do your BOGS provide good traction when walking on ice?
I've found them as good as any other boots for traction on ice. Nothing special but not deficient.
