2018 Winter Depaul University MENP

Published

Hi All,

Just seeing if there was anyone out there applying to DePaul University MENP Program for Winter 2018. If so what are some of your stats GPA, Educational/ Volunteering Background?

Congrats to lycheesareforme!!!

I haven't heard anything from DePaul yet, but I am applying to Rush as well. And also the Loyola ABSN in case I don't get into DePaul or Rush for the masters.

I also got into this program and 98% sure I will be attending! I heard right on July 13th I believe they said it could be the 13th to 2 weeks after that to hear back from admissions. Good luck everyone!

Congrats, JSNurse123! Do you mind letting us know when you submitted your application?

Of course, I submitted my application on the very last day. I also sent an email asking when we would hear back and that depaul was my number one choice! Good luck everyone!

Very last day being I believe the 15th

Hey guys, check your emails! I just received a "status update" email acceptance. Best of luck to everyone!

Congrats, Anna010203! For anyone still waiting, I submitted on June 15th through NursingCAS and just received the "application status update" email acceptance. Rush is still my top choice but it's super exciting to know for sure about DePaul. Good luck to anyone still waiting to hear!

Hello! I just received my acceptance letter via email! Yay so excited.

Congrats to everyone who was accepted! Quick question for those of us who are also applying to Rush. It looks like we have to confirm acceptance to DePaul and place a tuition down payment by Sept. but the Rush website says their decisions aren't sent out until October. How is everyone handling this? Would it be appropriate to pay the down payment and confirm with DePaul (so as not to lose your spot) but wait to make a final decision until hearing from all schools?

Hi Anna! I'm in the exact same boat. I emailed DePaul Graduate Admissions to see if I could get an extension and they told me "We cannot guarantee that your spot in the cohort will be held until the end of September, but you are welcome to wait until then to submit your intent to enroll and deposit, as we will not disqualify your admission. It depends on if the remaining spots in the cohort are filled before you submit your intent to enroll and deposit. Please let us know if you have any further questions." So, I'm guessing it's fine if we decide to pay the $300 and provide our intent to enroll but then withdraw from the program. I'm still not sure what my plan is.

Thanks for that info, Sciencenotsilence! In that case I will probably pay the down payment just in case.

Has anyone created a FB group??
