Winston Salem State University (WSSU) ABSN 2025 Cohort

Hey there! Just wanting to start a group for those interested in the WSSU ABSN Spring 2025 cohort. I know it's a bit early, but I'm starting to look into their application process. 

I have a question myself about a particular requirement...does anyone know if the TEAS test is required for the ABSN program?  A little confused.

They are not providing a specific date. Would someone else be able to try to call?

I'm sort of hesitant to call after shooting them an email yesterday. If they don't respond to my email by Friday, I will call. It's very frustrating. I swear they had an estimated timeline for acceptation dates (and felt like it was mid October- early November) when the application was due...but all of that has been pulled. Same with the course guideline!

Hey guys. Member of the 2024 cohort. Expect this whole thing to be a wait game. You'll soon find out that this is how they work. No worries though. You'll get your decisions eventually. Had a few people in the current cohort get their decision the night before the first day of orientation.

thats just great. Random question how many people are typically in a cohort? I cant find any info on their typical class size and statistics

Ours started out with 30. The largest they've had up to date. But I did hear that typically the past cohorts were 20ish or so

I just called and the woman stated "you will have a decision no later than tomorrow.”  So hopefully that's true.

Yes, I think you have to accept through rams admission portal....I think

Has anyone been able to accept their offer? I was able to login into the RAMS Admission Portal with my BannerID but there wasn't anything in there.
