Winchester Hospital CNA class

Published

Has anyone taken this class? If so, would you recommend it? It's a few hundred less than the Red Cross class, which is nice. Thanks!

Specializes in LTC, Hospice, home health, ms, resp....

I have never taken the class there. If its a hospital, I would trust it. you can call the state and see what they have to say. I have called them before and they are great. Very nice and helpful. I had to leave a message once and it was detailed and they called me back with a detailed response.

best of luck to you.

if you're a nursing student and have completed 75 hours of clinicals you can take the state CNA exam without doing the CNA class. The American Red Cross give the exam.

Another idea would be to contact local nursing homes. Marion Manor in Boston used to offer free CNA training as do many others. Some will also pay you as you train.

Hi watersamy, thanks for the suggestions!
